Pillowbook Sleep

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 31, 2026

The short version

1. Who we are

Pillowbook Sleep (“Pillowbook”) is made by Peachblue Technologies Inc. (“Peachblue”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the Pillowbook app for iPhone and this website.

Our Privacy Officer is responsible for how we handle personal information. You can reach them at support@peachblue.io.

2. What stays on your iPhone

Pillowbook saves what it needs to work, on your iPhone only:

None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. It’s included in your iPhone’s own backups (iCloud Backup or a computer) if you have turned those on, under Apple’s terms. Pillowbook doesn’t store your journal in iCloud.

3. Apple Health

Connecting Apple Health is optional, and Pillowbook works fully without it. If you connect it, Pillowbook:

Pillowbook never sends Health data to us or to anyone else, never uses it for advertising, marketing or data mining, and never stores it in iCloud.

You can change or turn off access at any time in the Health app (tap your picture, then Apps, then Pillowbook) or in Settings, under Privacy & Security, then Health. Mindful Minutes that Pillowbook saved stay in Health until you delete them there.

4. Other permissions

Pillowbook asks for each of these only when it needs it, and works without any of them, minus that one feature:

You can change any of these in Settings, under Pillowbook.

5. Purchases

Subscriptions and free trials are bought through Apple, with your Apple Account. Apple processes the payment, and we never receive your name, card or billing details. The app checks with the App Store whether you have an active subscription. Apple gives us sales and trial reports that don’t identify you. Apple’s handling of your purchase is covered by Apple’s privacy policy.

6. Crash reports

If you have turned on Share With App Developers (in Settings, under Privacy & Security, then Analytics & Improvements), Apple may share crash reports and similar diagnostics with us in a form that doesn’t identify you. We use them only to fix problems, and you can turn this off at any time.

The diagnostics log in the app reaches us only if you choose to share it with us, for example by email.

7. When you contact us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include. We use it only to answer you. We keep it as long as we need it to help you, and delete it within two years of our last message. Our email provider, Google (Google Workspace), stores these messages for us and gives them at least the same protection as this policy.

8. This website

This website has no accounts, no analytics and no advertising, and it sets no cookies. To show the page, your browser loads our typeface from Google Fonts and an animation library from jsDelivr. Like any request on the web, those services receive your IP address and browser details. Our web host, Vercel Inc., may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser and pages visited) for a short time to keep the site running and secure.

9. What we don’t do

10. Other companies

Pillowbook shares no information from the app with any other company. For the few services this policy names (our email provider and our web host), we use only providers who protect your information at least as well as this policy does.

11. Keeping and deleting your information

Everything in section 2 stays on your iPhone until you delete it:

12. Your choices and rights

You can turn off any permission at any time (sections 3 and 4). Doing so never affects anything you have paid for.

Depending on where you live (for example in Canada, the European Union, the United Kingdom or California), you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. Because Pillowbook keeps your journal on your iPhone, the only personal information we usually hold is email you have sent us. Write to support@peachblue.io and we’ll reply within 30 days. If you aren’t satisfied, you can complain to your local privacy regulator, such as the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

13. Children

Pillowbook isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.

14. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change affects what Pillowbook does with your information, we’ll tell you in the app or on this site before it takes effect.
